Virtue Group was founded in 2004 on the beautiful island of Galveston, Texas as a primary provider of hotel and hospitality information. Over the course of the next couple years Virtue Group repositioned itself towards the state's largest industry, the restaurant and bar industry. The company expanded and put a renewed focus on its service lines to provide more information on Texas' restaurants and bars.

With its new alignment, Virtue Group garnered the interest of the Texas Restaurant Association which bestowed upon it the prestigious title, of Official Researchers. As the partnership grew over the next few years, Virtue Group and the Texas Restaurant Association sponsored new research into the industry, producing the 2006 Texas Restaurant Industry Operations Report (or TRIOR for short) and the Texas Market Segmentation Study.

The company soon relocated to Austin, Texas in 2006 to increase its proximity with the Texas Restaurant Association, other associations in the state, and a market full of top technical talent. During this period, new initiatives were launched by Virtue Group to expand its offering in the On-Premise Alcoholic Beverage marketplace: yDrink now offered three tiers of services with greatly enhanced service and capabilities.

Today Virtue Group has become known as the place to turn for Texas Restaurant and On-Premise Alcoholic Beverage data and research throughout the state. From government agencies to companies large and small, Virtue Group's data and research services are counted on by hundreds of people throughout the state. Virtue Group is proud of its new position in the marketplace and will continue to enhance its service to the ever changing needs of the industries it serves for many years to come.
